Our Mission in Africa: Helping Street Children and Sustainable Green Nursery Villages

In Africa we want to offer a better future to millions of children who grow up in terrible circumstances. Street children often face violence, abuse and a lack of basic facilities such as food, clothing and education. Our mission is to give these children a future by building self-sufficient villages where they can grow up in a safe environment.

These villages not only provide shelter, but also opportunities for learning and work. By creating large nurseries where plants for the commercial market, among other things, are grown, we can simultaneously increase employment and prepare children for a future full of opportunities. Our goal is not only to provide shelter and care, but also to create ‘green armies’ – young people who are trained in plant cultivation and contribute to a sustainable future for Africa.

Collaboration for a CO2-Neutral Future with Bamboo

Climate change requires innovative solutions. We have developed a plan to grow bamboo on a large scale in Africa. Bamboo, which can absorb up to 400% more CO2 than other crops, plays an important role in achieving CO2 targets. By using this bamboo for CO2 certificates, companies can achieve their climate goals cost-efficiently and at the same time contribute to our mission to help street children in Africa.

Plant Supplies to Arab Countries: Supply and Growth

We are also active in supplying plants to countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, where the demand for greenery and landscape decoration is enormous. By focusing on this market, we are building a stable foundation for our mission. This enables us to further invest in sustainable projects that support street children and at the same time contribute to the greening of desert areas by growing large numbers of palms and other crops.

Our Influence in the Netherlands: Day Care and Reintegration

In the Netherlands, we also contribute to social goals. Through collaboration with organizations such as Amenij, we offer day care and reintegration for people who need extra support to find their place in society. With guidance and practical experience in our garden center, we help them develop new skills and increase their self-esteem.
